Tecnopipe-W

TECNOPIPE-W is Marvon’s mineral wool pipe section studied and designed to guarantee fire resistance up to EI 240 of penetration seals on wall and floor in accordance with EN 1366-3.

TECNOPIPE-W is made up of mineral wool with a density of 80 kg/m3 covered with an aluminum foil.
It is used for fire protection of non-insulated, multilayer, non-combustible pipe crossings to be sealed with Marvon TECNO-S 240 acrylic sealant.

Field of application

TECNOPIPE-W pipe section can be installed on: flexible walls (plasterboard), rigid walls (masonry, concrete or aerated concrete), timber wall, rigid floors (concrete or aerated concrete), timber floor.

It has a fire resistance up to EI 240 classified according to the EN 13501-2 standard for:

  • Non-insulated non-combustible pipes (copper or steel).
  • Multilayer pipes.
